Este proceso de rehabilitaci\u00f3n del espacio en el museo comenzar\u00e1 en julio, una vez clausurado el Mercado Medieval, y se prev\u00e9 que en octubre se haya efectuado la remodelaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La encargada del proyecto, Betlem Plannells, ha resumido las cuatro fases que se llevar\u00e1n a cabo para este cambio en el museo.<\/p>\n<p>El primero de los pasos es el revestimiento de las paredes con tableros de densidad media a una altura de tres metros y 30 cent\u00edmetros. Con este soporte vertical, Plannells asegur\u00f3 que servir\u00e1 para combatir las humedades.<\/p>\n<p>En la segunda fase, se plantea el dise\u00f1o integral de un nuevo mobiliario para una mayor comodidad del personal auxiliar del Hospital del Rey.<\/p>\n<p>La tercera fase se centra en el desarrollo, coordinaci\u00f3n y proyecci\u00f3n para delinear un nuevo espacio mediante un organigrama. En la parte izquierda de este, se estructurar\u00e1 todos los trabajos que se realizan en el museo.<\/p>\n<p>En la parte derecha, se habilitar\u00e1 un friso con una interpretaci\u00f3n historiogr\u00e1fica del edificio. En la cuarta, y \u00faltima fase, se pondr\u00e1 un monitor para ofrecer m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n a los visitantes.<\/p>\n<p>La remodelaci\u00f3n espacial se centrar\u00e1 especialmente en la entrada principal del Hospital del Rey: \u201cEs un espacio de 17 metros lineales que ser\u00e1 afectado por este proyecto\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan ha manifestado la presidenta de la Fundaci\u00f3n Melilla Monumental, Maribel Pintos, este proyecto \u201cpone en valor un edificio tan emblem\u00e1tico y todas las actividades culturales que en \u00e9l se generan\u201d. Asimismo, el objetivo es que el visitante \u201cquede empapado de una realidad hist\u00f3rica y cultural que hunde sus ra\u00edces en la secular identidad de una ciudad mediterr\u00e1nea y
